Having a Code of Integrity enhances our standing as an organization. Through this document, the Cundinamarca Project Development Fund (Fondecún) adopts and embraces new values that will guide the actions of those dedicated to public service. Public service ethics address two fundamental aspects: a moral obligation inherent to the individual—that is, the public servant’s awareness that their actions must conform to standards of conduct centered on responsibility, compliance, and honesty. The second aspect refers to the threat of sanctions should a public servant, in the exercise of their duties, violate or deviate from constitutional, legal, or regulatory provisions, thereby incurring a penalty that may take various forms.
